Goooo Nats!

So I went to my first game at the new nats stadium. We got first row seats behind the opponent's bull pen. It was great. Although every time the ball was hit i was SURE it was coming straight for me and I ducked out of the way.

Unfortunately we couldnt go to Ben's Chili bowl because the line was RIDICULOUS. It would have taken all 9 innings to get it, and while I briefly thought about it, i opted for pizza instead (which is better than any other ballpark pizza surprisingly)

The drunk guys next to me took full advantage of our seat location and towards the end of the game heckled Three of the pitchers. First Gardner, by calling every pitch he threw out a Ball. After the third pitch he looked up and glared. He went out and promptly walked a guy. The Second Pitcher was Badenhop making fun of his number 66 mainly and also his last name. He mumbled something under his breath but I dont know what. He also went out and let in some runs.

Last was Matt Lindstrom. They yelled things like "hey, are you even on mlb.com" or "if your team werent up 6 runs in april you wouldnt even be warming up, enjoy it". One of lindstrom's teammates walked over to him and said something under his breath. The drunk guy yelled "he told you not to worry about those drunk guys in the stands huh?" to which the guy giving advice nodded. Finally Lindstrom stops pitching, looks up and yells "you guys really suck".

Then after the game the coach in the bullpen looks up and goes "you guys suck at heckling, cant you at least swear more or something?" to which the guy replies "sorry, we arent drunk enough and there are little kids around"

I was amused and plan on sitting there again :)
