So Yesterday I nearly forgot to vote...that is until facebook reminded me before I left for work. So I walked across the street and got in line to vote. The line didnt look too bad, and it was only 8am so I should be in and out and on time to work, right? WRONG! The line moved about as slow as molasses in the winter in negative 12 degree weather.
I finally got near the front and saw the set up. There were 3 voting booths. Two registration tables, each with one person at it. And one guy just making sure everything was going smoothly. Well the one guy yelled in a loud booming voice to everyone as they came in "are you a democrat or a republican?". This slowed down the line because everyone had to stop and respond. Alternately they could have taped up a sign on each table so people could figure it out themselves.
There were no republicans, so everyone in line was waiting for one table, with one person registering. That meant only one person could vote at a time. What a disaster! I finally cast my vote and left over an hour after I had gotten there.
So much for getting to work on time.

Your logic is faulty. If voting were lame, there wouldn't be so many people in line to do it. OBVIOUSLY, voting Republican is lame because NO ONE was in line to do it.
Consider yourself a cool kid for queuing up for democracy.
What would we as a society do without Facebook?
We wouldn't remember to elect a president, that's for sure.
